The Office of Student Activities provides programs, facilities, and support for co-curricular and extracurricular activities, including weekly social activities through Amherst College After Dark and IntertermStudents are encouraged to explore their interests, take on leadership roles, and engage in whatever it is they are passionate about. We provide advisement, direction, and leadership training to a number of groups across campus.

Planning an Event

The Student Activities Office staff provides support and resources for Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) planning an event on campus. The Student Activities Office must approve the proposed event before it can take place. Our office can also assist with funding for an event, though some limitations may apply.

Programming Boards—Get Involved!

Our Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run programming board that hosts a variety of campus-wide events throughout the school year, and Amherst After Dark offers live entertainment, movies, arts and crafts, game nights and many other social events.
