The Amherst curriculum offers both flexibility and independence, and rewards initiative. Students work with faculty advisors to devise a plan of study from among 850 courses at the College and thousands more through the Five Colleges. Faculty advisors provide students with guidance as they shape their education, explore the liberal arts, and take advantage of the intellectual freedom that Amherst offers.
Workday is the tool the College uses to store and organize information and data so that we can conduct business—everything from advising and registration tasks to tracking time off.
