The Amherst Symphony Orchestra performs a concert of music by Georges Hüe, Antonín Dvořák and Pytor Illich Tchaikovsky.
Two Amherst College seniors are showcased: Ashley Kim '23E performs the Hüe Fantasy for Flute & Orchestra, and Taz Kim '23 performs Dvořák's Concerto for Cello & Orchestra. The concert also includes Tchaikovsky's Romeo & Juliet Fantasy-Overture. Mark Lane Swanson, music director, conducts the Dvořák and Tchaikovsky, and Shuyao (Charlotte) Wang '24 leads the Hüe.
The concert is FREE and open to the general public.
