Welcome to the website of the Japanese Language Program at Amherst College. My name is Wako Tawa（多和わ子）and I am the Director of the Japanese Language Program of Amherst College. At Amherst, we teach Japanese in a unique way, using the textbook series The Japanese Stage-Step Course.
